Ok I have onther Thread about me building a 440 motor... But I thought I could get some more answers on this by just making a new one. Im looking into going with a FCR 39mm carb as of right now.. . But whats the Difference betwen the Edelbrock 440ex carb and the Eichner 440ex Carb I know Price and color... but is there any difference besides that? Ive been asking around and now one has been able to help me out with this question yet... and are the Edlebrocks wroth the money? Money on this motor build is no problem.... So if someone knows of any better carbs let me know...Thanks for all the help guys

I have a regular edelbrock that I sent to edelbbrock to bore out for the 416. I love the carb. Very easy to tune.

The Eichner is a 38x38 and comes with a 23 needle. The regular qwiksilver is a 38x36 and comes with a 17 for the biggest needle. Not a huge difference. I ran a regular one on my 440 and 426 and it ran fine.

I had the fcr39 aftermarket carb and switched to the eichner 440 carb and regret doing it, the fcr had more pull than the edelbrock, the edelbrock is a nice carb but seat of the pant testing I like the fcr better.
