well looks like the ex has stayed the same displacement wise.. but it looks more like the 450r... been checking out the new models:D

Jesus!!!!! What the hell are they thinking!!!!! the 400ex headlights were there're trade mark. WTF WTF WTF WTF!!!!! I cant beleive this, now all the little kids are gonna get 400's and say they are 450's, lol. they are almost identical, this sux.

guys, guys come on now look closer. the only difference from the old 400ex plastic is the new head lights and the nose/hood. the front fenders are the same, the rear fenders are the same, and the frame is most definitely the same and shocks. so it is just like a little brother. looks kinda similar but not exactly.

I don't know if anyone paid any attention, but did anyone notice the new CRF450X???? With the exception of softer suspension and wider gear ratios, it's the same exact bike as the CRF450R. Oh ya, one other difference, ELECTRIC START WITH KICK BACK-UP! Could an electric start retro kit be a possiblity for the TRX450R?????

im with you on that one. i like having kickstart. i bet dan wished he would of had kickstart in the dunes last time. oh wait, i was there to pull his ***** around, or push it back to the camp site. i think im still breathing hard from that!:D

i went in the honda website and dont see either of those bikes. the 450x or the new looking 400ex? where did you see these machines

But why would they make a 400 look like a 450? Like Yamaha made the warrior look like their 450?

i think i know why they made it look like the 450R.....now they both have the same hood so it saves them money buy making one hood for 2 quads....i personaly dont want a quad that looks like another one but that might not be the reason idk.....

I saw a 2005 400ex at the dealer when I picked up my '05 450r and they looked the same as they did before. *shrugs
