In the years I've been riding dirt toys, there are few things that inspire me more than to see the guy putting down the highway with 4 bikes and 3 quads piled in and/or on his truck, towing a 5x5 trailer with a similar load held together with a mix of bungee cords and wire -- whatever it takes to get all yer stuff to camp!

Before I got a toy hauler, we would take a flat 4x8 trailer and load it up with 3 dirt bikes, 2 atc's and 1 quad, plus tools/gear/gas, towed with what was sometimes a rental car. That's determination! Most times you could see the poor little axle bending under the stress of the load.

How do you get all your bikes and gear to camp? Post pics of your wildest pack-jobs and inspire the weenie whiners, who need that extra push to go 'on trip' - no matter what it takes!

Good luck!

I got pulled over a few weeks ago for having my 450r up on the cab of my truck and a banshee haning the rear tires over the down tail gate. The cop said it just didn't look safe to be driving like that. No ticket or anything just a warning. I shoulda got a pic!

I thought alot about buying an RSX ( I traded in my Integra), but I didn't think towing a trailer behind it was a good idea. Instead I ended up w/ a Pathfinder. I like it, but I miss the Acura every once and a while. How is it towing with the car?

Last week i saw a guy with a 400 strapped to the roof of his honda civic. I really wish i had gotten a pic. It would have been perfect for this thread.

Since I have a car and dont want to put my 450 on the roof and dont hsve a triler hitch, and my dad has the damn truck for his work all the time. My 450r fits nicely in the back of my moms 96 windstar with about 3 inches on each side to spare, but you have to crank down the fron suspension about 4 inchs to get it to clear the tailgate opening then let it back up once its inside. with the seats out of corse. I will get a pic this weekend maybe.

The car has plenty of power and pulls the trailer very well. I usually lose about 6 mpg pulling the trailer with the AC on.
