2004 Chevrolet Silverado Short Cab Short Box 5.3L V8 Z71.

Picked her up last month. I must say I love it so far. Quite an upgrade from a 2.2L two wheel drive S-10. I'm not dissing it, it was a good truck. I just needed more power!

Be original and dont get dual exhaust, EVERYONE gets it, it was sweet when the first one hundred thousand ppl got it, now its just so d*** annoying and its not original anymore.

IF your gona get a exhaust get a good one that actually gives power like a flowmaster.

just my ,02 haha

Nice ride man.. I have a 99 Z, and I love it... Instead of running duals, I have an electric exhaust dump... I can open it wide open and get some good sound, or close it on roadtrips and make it sound stock again.. I would do that again in a heartbeat over duals....

I ordered a Gibson Super Truck Exhaust today. I would have went true duals, but I didn't want to attract the police. I think I might do a 3" body lift, with 33's and some Weld rims. Because a suspension lift voids the warranty.

so can the body lift with over sized tires! if your dealer says its ok, make sure you get it in writing. I've heard story's of guys that put 285's on their Z71's instead of the stock 265 sizes. Well, when they took it into the dealer for warranty work, such as a rear end or tranny issue, the dealer said "nope, you increased your tire size, thus increasing the load on the drivetrain...warranty is void!"....

so just keep that in mind and if they dont care, GET IT IN WRITING!

Hahaha... I went from a 4 banger Ranger to a SuperDuty. It was a big change but at the same time everything was right were it was at in my Ranger (just a little bit further apart).
