whats the difference?

ok here it goes...
yesterday my bro and i were hanging out in the garage and my buds raptor was sittin there with a new pipe on it so...
we decided to try his old fmf ti.4 on my 450
i had a white bros e series on b 4
anyway it fit perfect and to my astonishment the hp gain on bottom was awesome i never thought that it would work in such a dramatic fashion
i mean yes i know diff pipes give diff power gains in different spots on the power band
does anyone here think that when they make a pipe they just gear it toward a specific wheeler and then just give it different bends to fit other wheelers? or this is what i thought...
i thought that they made a DIFFERENTpipe for every wheeler
anyone know why a raptor pipe would work so well on a 450cc wheeler

im no expert but id say they make a design and then make the needed adjustments for each bike.


(but i think that little yammy pipe jumping off the conveyor belt and hiding in the honda bin sounds best):devil:
