LRD/Jetting Question

I just purchased a full LRD pro 4 series exhaust for my 450r.
I have a Sparks filter kit also. I just bought it on ebay for a great price. Should be here anyday. If anyone is running this setup what jetting are u using? I will not be running a airbox lid. Sorry if this question was answered somewhere else. I haven't seen it.

id start with a 190 main

I also bought a dynojet kit. It only go's upto 180. But, they say their jets don't flow the same as the carb mfd does.
The kit says use a 160 or 165 main i think. But came with a 170-175-180 also. Maybe their not real sure what works either. I have never had a problem with their kits before though.

I have the LRD Pro series, HRC cam and K&N filter. I am running a 50 pilot, 195 main and the needle clip on the 4th notch.

I have thr LRD on my 450R & love it. I run a 178 main, the clip on the needle is at the 5th position from the top, the air mixture screw is at 2 turns out. It runs great. I run it with the lid off but, I do still have the stock air filter, my K&N will be here this week. LRD says to run .50 pilot jet, air mixture screw 2 turns out, clip in the fifth position from the top & a 180 main with the full system & air filter. Hope this helps.

The kit says use a DJ116 with lid on.
DJ165 with it off.
I'm working on it right now.
I'll let you guys know what happens.

I think i'll try it with the lid on. There is alot of mud where i ride, the top of my lid was covered.

i am running a 190 main w/ 52 pilot and i dont remember what position the needle is in but i have the exact same set up and i haven't had any problems it runs great

I also have the LRD full system with HRC and K&N.. I have a 195 main with a 50 pilot and the air screw 4 turns out ,and left the needle alone. run mint except 4 blowing the end cap off 3 times

I used dyno jets 120 main with the lid on. The DJ116 was actually a hair bigger than my stock 118. With their needle in the 3rd groove.
Now I just have to ride it. It seems to run ok. I may need to go up a little on the pilot jet though. I'll have to wait and see.
We are getting alot of rain right now so it may be a couple days.

on my 450 i run a 190 main with no lid and k&n
but i just have the slip-on

I''m running the HRC Kit full LRD Pro 4 and K&N. Im Running the dynojet needle on the 3rd from the top groove with a 190 main. Im running everything dynojet says except there extension and there jet i used the keihn 190. Took it into dealer the other day for oil change and asked them to check it and the plug looks picture perfect like all the service manuals. I called LRD and he said 190 or 195. It's been like 60-85 degrees around here hope this helps!!!!!!!!!

I just installed the DJ180 with the lid off and the needle on the 3rd groove. I haven't really had a chance to ride it though. I rode it around the alley behind my house but not much cause I didn't want the cops to get me. It seemed to run ok. Maybe a little flat on top. I'll have to ride it more and see. I didn't ride it enough to tell. I'm out of town this weekend. so I can't ride it at all. Thanks for your input.
