Alton Il scramble

Splinter will be holding another harescramble this weekend on the 12 th , camping allowed w/ gate fee and were using alot of the old wide course for fun this time so we'll be pinned in the woods thought it would be fun to race a wide course for a change only 1-3 small tight sections , youth races @ 8:30, Atv's @ 10:00, Bikes @ 12:30 gate opens at 6:30am, will be payouts for A class in ATV and bike's will have payouts as well, 100% throphys for the youth on a seperate course for 30 minutes.

The moto track has been changed alot there is a small table now and some of the jumps have been rounded, we added a 6 pack of jumps after the finish which are really neat and i will be cutting out the back portion of the MX track for it is still steep on back sides, course will be more wide this time I wanted to make a fast course for a change and all the creeks are dry and we put a makeshift bridge in the bad creek to get across w/ alternate's already planned, hope ya make and bring the boy I got bigger throphy's for the youth this time and more for all the classes .
Course wiill be right around 4 miles but a fast 4 miles:eek2:

The weather is going to be awesome and the track is taking shape and looks to be a little longer this time, I'm getting a woody in the woods:eek2: :D :huh

good race today, i liked the track better than last race, finished a little better today, good job to scott(yfz450xc) for getting the club to run some harescrambles this year maybe more next year, it looked like the turnout was about the same maybe more bikes this time. good job to everyone (rdogg450 6th b class),(shep 3rd expert),(dave hicks 2nd expert) i think, and i finished 4th b class i should have some pics tommorrow.

Hey Shep and Pstroker sorry we missed yall this weekend, Foutch backed out as usual and as I was making sure my new stock decompression plug was ok my Carb blew off!!%$^%$. I dont know if the two are related but I think its time I went back to RED!:mad: Let me know who did what. Shep I will be in Farmingtom on Tues if you can panhandle for some gas money maybee we can do a lil riding at fat liver.:cool:

scott how come you need tie rod ends? me too i blasted a tree thought i broke my thumb but i kept it wraped around cold ones pretty late last night it feels better my head don't though. bent my left tie rod a little and it tweaked the end so it's not loose anymore i might just have to ride it like it is. well i have to get my gear cleaned up for this weekend my jersey smells like beer after i got rid of a couple on the first lap:D

I go through tie rods like butter still just junk I guess and these are the after market Tusk ones to trees I guess I will look aorund I might have some Honda tie rods left.
