according to advertisements of my mods i should have the claimed hp.
11.1 piston and stage 1 cam = 5 hp
degree key = 2 hp
sparks carb mod = 2 hp
uni filter = 1 hp
jet kit = ?
HMF Short Full System = 6 hp
Rev Box = 2 hp

total = 46 hp

no way that can be possible considering some 440s dont reach that amount of horse power.

any input on this would help a lot, im I gonna need something more then the stocker clutch to keep this power on the ground ?
and what octane should i be using ? and what will make me faster? should i tall the gearing up. i run 18" turfs in the rear, what to do to make it a super fast 100 yard drag bike ?
also should i be able to out run piped Z's, stock raptors preds ds 650s and maybe the new 450's ?

you won't get horsepower out of the key or rev box. the key will just make the initial throttle response feel more crisp. the rev box will just enable you to take your bike to higher rpms. this only helps given your cam wants to go that high. also, i don't think you will gain a full 2 horsepower out of the bored out carb. i put a fcr on and i don't think i gained a full 2 horsepower. yes it ran a little better but nothing crazy. what makes most people feel like they gained a huge amount is that the fcr carbs have much quicker throttle response from the short throw of the throttle lever with that carb. i did gain a little bit but nothing i would brag about. also, i think my gains in low end were as impressive as on top end. i don't think you will get a full 6 out of the pipe either. maybe with all of the motor mods you might. on a stock bike, it isn't happening imo. you won't notice a gain with the uni either. on a dyno it may show something very small but you won't feel it. i have tried stock, uni, twin air, and K&N. one doesn't feel any different than another even with trying a little richer jetting especially with the higher flowing K&N. it still isn't noticable though.
i can see all of that making you in the mid 30's on the dyno.

As a general rule I still like using the every $100 in parts gets you 1 hp rule.

but.. I think you may be close... with 46hp... now subtract the 5-6hp you lose before it gets to the ground now you have 41hp. That doesn't sound to far off.

$100 a hp system...

11.1 piston and stage 1 cam = $300 = 3hp
degree key = $25 = 1/2 hp
sparks carb mod = $? = 1/2hp
uni filter = $50? = 1/2hp
jet kit = $50 = 1/2hp
HMF Short Full System = $500 = 5hp
Rev Box = $150 = 1.5hp

total = 40 hp

about the same either system you use.

Also realize that some mods don't necessarily add to peak horsepower. I'm sure you've seen the dyno sheets, it isn't a flat line. It gradually slopes up, comes to a peak, and then back down. Some mods will give you a few extra horsepower in the mid-range, but don't add anything to the peak horsepower. So the advertised gains may be reasonabley accurate, but you can't just add them all together to the peak horsepower.

the claimed hp gains are from stock so if it says 6 hp gain then its 6hp greater than stock
but if you add a pipe and then piston etc etc the hp gains will not be as much as when they are put on a stock bike

all this makes good sense, so i maybe have extra 6 on the top which puts me at lie 34, and the the other go to mid and bottom, so it could be like 35 all the way around !

35hp is realistic...........GT Thunders full prepped 440 made 42.2hp to the rear on a dyno

Oh i thought we was talking about a 660 Raptor. ya you probably have near 35.

the 35hp seems right, as far as running with a ripped Z I dont think that is going to happen unless the rider cant shift but you never know!! And the 450r's have 33.1hp max @7250rpm stock!
M/O the new 450's "unless worked" arent what they should be,
a YFZ is alot faster, 2 of my friends one has the R and the other the YFZ and in a 100yds the R doesnt stand a chance even though the YFZ only has 3hp more.

if you want a fast drag bike, you should get larger tires than 18"s and lower your gearing. 20"s are good. the taller the tire, the larger the contact area, the better the traction, also, you want the widest tire;) 20x11x8 tamers or klaws are good. the smaller wheels help too, the more rubber, the more the tire flexes, giving you more traction
