I did a search and found Pappys therad and know it comes with a supplied 180 main, to run with no airbox lid, should you run the 180 main with a k&n? alos what needle possition and pilot to start with for the e2, and k&n, or is there no need just change then main?

Thanks

180 to start with no lid and any brand air filter. try leaving the needle alone unless its needed after a test ride..or two

also make sure you have enough of those spacers on the endcap
cause it wont run right with less than five of them
i thought my jets were screwed and i switched to an fmf ti.4
and it cleared it right up

There is no spacers on the end cap!!
Its a E2 slip-on you can switch from race to quite core with 1 screw.

I have the same set up 190 main 52 pilot and I'm at 4th clip from top of needle.

Personally not happy with this slip-on it does meet 96db with quite core installed but Mine cracked at the rear most bracket where they have all the little holes machined out of it. Another friend of mine has 1 on his YFZ and its cracked along the bracket. Poor design on the mounting system!!!

do you like your hmf better? did you buy the slipon or full system?

i had the bill ballance slip on. it was great in the woods. for general riding id take a plain old hmf with a quiet core or a curtis sparks full system.

my WB E2 will be hitting ebay shortly and its a toss up between the 2 i listed above.

well I race in the woods so probably the ballance slip on would be nice, if you dont mind me asking how much for ballance slipon?

was it carbon or alum?

also does it kill top end hp alot?

you would have to check on hmf's site for pricing.

i dont think it hurt the power anywhere:p
