Price for a used 400ex

What would be some decent prices for 1999-2003 used ex's? I have been looking around in atv trader magazines and such for a used ex because i don't have $5200 bucks to buy a new one.

Stock or modded, it doesn't matter to me.

depending on where you are from, i have a stock one and a modded one for sale.... Are you close to Indianapolis Indiana?

I live in central IL. All the dealers around here want way too much for used ones...like 4k. Prices in the classifides for my area sound reasonable. 2k-3k, and most of them are modded

A large dealer here in southwestern wisconsin had a bunch of new 04' 400ex's both yellow and red for $4495 each. With that said I wouldn't give too much for a used one. Especially when you stated stock or modded doesn't matter too much to you.

I paid $2,250 for my 99' about 1 1/2 years ago. It was all stock (slipon) and in really great shape.
