i am sending my 300ex out to get:
330 kit w/bore, white bros e-series pro mag pipe, white bros head pipe, hard faced rocker arms, ported and polished, new high performance cam, dyno jet kit, new guides, modified/maby new valves, and a cdi box mod.
is this a descent price for $1700 with labor included

where are u sending it? for a well known, proven engine builder, i would say thats an ok price.
