300ex with 250r swingarm.

i was recently looking around on ebay at 300ex parts and there was a 300ex with a prolink 250r swingarm on it. the guy said stock length 250r swinger adds 2 in on a stock length 300 swinger. does anybody know if this is a bolt on mod.

its not bolt on, you will need to weld a mount on the rear of the frame to mount the linkage from the 250r swingy

i have seen 300's with that swingarm and a cr500 linkage and i would say that would be a sweet set up

would i need to weld anything with that?

just that tab on the back i mentioned, you would just have to use a cr500 link instead of the stock 250r, prolly find one on ebay. check around first tho, i know there expensive if you have to buy one new

ok let me get this straight. the 250r swinger will line up with the holes on my frame i will just need to weld a bracket onto were the shock bolts onto the swingarm? im really confused here lol. :o :confused: :o
