good quad for 2000 or less?

:confused: I need a new quad. i plain out grew my 250ex in less than a year. if i sell all my extra chit i should come up w/ 2grand. i saw a piped 86 lt 250r for 1800 bucks. i know i wont be able to find a decent trx250r for the same price. if any one has pros & cons about this quad plz tell. or if think i could find a better quad for 2grand let me know.
I also really want an older 400ex.
well, i would much rather have a 400ex .
