300ex help QUICK!

I was racing up at Foot of Mountain (riding w/ one battery cable actually attached) and all of a sudden my bike just stalled out. It sounds like it wants to kick over but it just doesnt. Anyone know what this could be and how i could fix it? I was thinking either the fuel filter is clogged or the carborator is full of dust (it was a pretty dusty track)

its turning over but i just keeps sounding like its not getting gas into the carb. what should i do?

bradley..can i just clean my air filter using soap and water? I have a Twin Air filter if that means anything.

i would say clean ur carb clean ur air filter and check the fuel filer and fuel lines;)

there is a screw at the bottom of the carb, if you screw it out it will drain the gas out of the carb, do that to make sure you are getting gas, and check your plug and make sure its not fouled. Also to clean you air filter, take it off the quad, pull the metal cage out of the middle(assuming it has one) pour some gas in a coffe can and put the filter in the can. Squeeze is a lot and get all of the dirt out of the filter. Wala, you have a clean filter. Throw it in a gallon size zip-lock bag with some foam filter oil, squeeze the oil all over the filter, and let it dry for a while. There ya go brother. Oh yeah, when you have the filter off, pump the gas a few times and look into the carb, there should be some gas squirting from the acc. pump. If there is not, than your not gettin any gas;)
