I bought a yz450f engine off ebay and now I need a frame what should I get. I heard arens are junk, and wlashes r great and what about lonestar and converted stock frames. Iono, I don't ride very hard, but I come up short sometimes so it needs to be fairly strong, I weight 140lbs. I just don't want a piece of chit frame that im working on everytime I ride.

Cant go wrong with Walsh but **** they are expensive....yea if u build the bike make sure u get a nice frame thats one of the most important things..I had a crf450 and used a stock 400ex frame and frame broke in 3 places and motor mounts cracked also!!

walsh is the best frame on the market now... long wait and expensive thou

laeger was the best but he stopped makin them... u can still find used ones thou...

JB would be my 2nd choice for a frame... very good frames and are copys of the old laegers... plus jody knows his stuff

what ever u do... make sure that u get a cr500, crf450, yz450f linkage in the rear... there is no comparison between a bike link and a quad style linkage (stk or no link)... its well worth it...
