they say if thats all you have, than no. But to get the true power of a slip on, you must re-jet, and to get the FULL portential, you must get a new air filter for increased air flow.

I would never bolt a slip-on pipe on a machine and not rejet. I just don't see the point in risking burning something up, besides it runs so much better with the jetting adjusted while not rejetting seems to make you lose power. Also, I don't think the air filter will make that much of a difference unless you use a K&N which gets a little more than a foam filter along with taking off the lid...that makes a huge difference in power (as long as you rejet for that too).

White brothers should have sent you a jet with the slip on. They did when I had mine

i would highly recomend rejetting, u dont want to run it hot and cease the motor up:eek2: wvery now and then i check my plug just for the safety of the thing.

Its not gonna burn up that easy. I ran a k&n, and a wb slip-on and did not re-jet.(I did not know I had to.....) Not saying it was good for my motor what so ever, and it ran hotter than hell. So if you want your bike to run cooler, and get the gains of the pipe, re-jet:)
