question on 400ex

i was wondering if any of u new what free stuff i could do to my 400ex to make it preform better

ooops, forgot one! Take the air box lid off or drill holes in the airbox lid! More air helps:D

remove the baffle for one! then drill 4 1-3/4 or 2" (can't remeber now what i used) in your airbox lid. what I done then was took some heavy screen and pop riveted the screen over the holes then I put a small bead of silicone around the edges, also make sure your jetting is right for your area!

hey, chopping the front fenders will provide less wind resistance. i have been told that you might see a slight top end gain from this mod.

it wont add much, most guys cut fenders for looks, and when you are jumping, they say you noticed the less wind resistnace so your front end doesnt rise with the wind. if you really want power you going to have to put the $$$ for it.

remove ur choke...they have a DIY thing on here somewere thats shows u how to do it thats how i did mine
