pipe glowing red

i just got my 450r and tonite i noticed the pipe was red after letting it sitr and idle for a few minutes ran it down the road and i think it stopped do i have a jetting problem?what should i check? anybody else have this problem?

they all do it, first day i picked mine up I posted the same exact question ;) everyone on here willl tell you its perfectly normal

The pipes are so thin they glow, try it at night:D I haven't seen many 4 strokes not glow, especially stock jetting, nothing to worry about.

Take it for a good run up a big dune at night, makes for a good night light!

A nice big mud hole and some donuts make for an orange header at night also.:devil:

at night its like having a neon red light on the bottom of your quad! i think its neat when the whole street is lit up under you, lol.

Mine was cherry red Friday night , we had a group of 10 quads riding, and you couldn't go too fast cause of the group we rode with. When we stopped my pipe looked like it was sprayed reddish orange for like 5 minutes, then it cooled off. If I ride fast it doesn't happen but when your lugging around with people it gets red.
No problem it's normal. I pulled my plug and looked at it yesterday, nice light tan color.

you guys are right i called the dealer aqnd they said that the pipe is made of magnesium and it holds heat well and they are made to run lean as u can get them without melting down the piston

well your dealer is wrong, the stock pipe is made out of stainless steel.
