Steering Damper

What is a good steering damper? Is it worth the money the money? Im kinda looking at a pep on ebay for $135 is it worth it or what else can i do for bump-steer

iv'e never had a pep but I use to have a denton 7 way rebuildable one on my old 400ex & that thing was awesome..i swore to myself I wouldnt ride without one again yet here I am waiting on one
