Hey guys, im considering +2 arms and 1-2+ longer swingarm, maby even +4 rear axle.
i like the idea of stability more than anything,
i just like to play around, im not into racing all to much
whellies, hill climbs, jumping, messing around in the sand and lose gravel, im not into trails all to much, stability is good, but why wouldnt i ever want to put these mods on ? ive looked at my trailer and i have room for these mods. on my trailer anyways, my wallet is a different story.
but seriously, has anyone noticed any real reasion why you wouldnt want to have these mods ? how much harder is it to whellie with a +2 on your rear end ? i at least want to make it as long as a 300, as i understand the 400 is 1 1/4 shorter,

You could just get an adjustable axle and play with it from there. Its not any harder to whellie being wider in the back. You don't need a swingarm unless you brake your stock one or get some motor work done.

no, i didnt ask how much harder it was going to be to whellie if i was wider, i said if i had a longer swingarm by 1-2 inches how much harder is it to whellie, how much does it effect the handling of the bike.

You should still be able to pull wheelies its harder to keep up. It makes it a lot easier climbing hills.

you can get the stock swingarm extended +2 for $130. I did that so If I dont like it I will just get an aftermarket one. it would suck to get an aftermarket one then not like it!!

Chad who does that and how strong do you think it is.
I don't want to go 2" but would like mabye 1" 1/4.

another thing that would suck would be to pay for that mod and break it soon after.(not where the new weld is but closer to the pivot bolt.

Mac Racing does it!(503-390-0094) it cost me $7 to ship it there then they charge me $138.95. thats including shipping it back! I beat it on the floor and it didnt break:D I know the ole 400 will give it more he!! but it sure seems strong to me. Mac Racing says they do about 5 a week and they have never had one break yet!

Chad how long have you had yours on? It just worries me to do this when I have three friends that have had their stock swing arms break.
