So I take it that it does not fit a 450R. Alot of guys are saying the 400EX filters fit the 450R but I am not sure.

I never tried it, I called K&N when I found it was the wrong and they said dont use it, to use 4504 filter.

Well, I wonder if the 4504 filter flows more/less air or something? Is the hole the same size on the airbox where it would mount up? If I could find a prodesign ring and this filter could fit you may have it sold... if it would fit that is.
