best pipe for $500 or under ????

im wanting to buy a pipe and i like to get the best for the 500 im willing to spend any ideas on about the best power gains for the buck ????

i would look at a DMC alien off ebay...all u really need is a slip on since the stock header is huge already

i went with the HMF, it was only $229 for the slip-on, mike is right, you wont need a new header pipe.

I have a LRD on my 450r. Love the way it sounds and the performance is awesome over stock. The guys at LRD are really good too. Seen one on ebay go for less than $400 the other day.

Rossier has a pipe for $450 that installs very cleanly, has a 3 step header, is 96db, and is spark arrested. My 450r made 44 hp on the dyno with this pipe and the HRC kit.

Rossier would be my secone choice. They are great guys over there to top it off.

Definitly LRD full exhaust from C&D for $489. Great Sound, Performance, and People. MADE IN USA also. If you get any exhaust be sure you update your air filter and your jets too. I think the sparks is pretty expensive and i dont think it will do anything the LRD doesnt! There are also full systems all the time on ebay for 439

I know and to think there are other people in this forum that are pi$$ed about paying $300 for an HRC kit!!:confused:

I have it on my R & love it. It made a world of difference.:D
