The rear shock on my pile is shot. Is it rebuildable? If not, I thought I read something about using a shock out of a raptor? Or do I just replace it with another 300ex shock?

Yes Many use the 2001 raptor rear shock as a replacement for the stock 300ex/250x rear shock. Just make sure the raptor shock you buy has the rubber hosed remote rezzie on it.
