I"ve got some money burnin a hole in my pocket and will spend it either on a more aggressive cam for the quad or flowmasters for the truck.

Keep in mind my quad has a performance cam in it, it runs fine but a little more power could be useful.

The truck needs the redneck growl to it, better performance, and better gas mileage...:o

Oh yeah, i'll spend less on the exhaust than the cam...:huh which is just crazy...

What did you go with 30's, 40's, 50's, full system or just mufflers?

I'm guessing 40's muffler.

3 inch pipe all the way back with muffler.

you have a ranger right? if its a 4 cyl get the cam, ummm a 6 cylinder is still iffy, they dont sound good with exhausts so i would still get the cam and if its a v8 then go with the flowmasters. (Dont know what engines come in rangers if thats even what u have and it also depends on how big the engine is)

My friend has a 6cyl tacoma and i dont like the way it sounds. Just me though, but my friends ranger has a 4 liter 6 cylinder in his with flowmasters and it sounds great.

::Edit:: i just read the rest and its already been decided, let us know though what u got and how it sounds.

I would get the cam.
When I got my flowmaster on my f150 it seemed to be a little more sluggish. Used to run 15.6 to 15.9 pretty consistant. Now im hard pressed to run under 16.

redneck growl ain't putting now flowmasters on your truck you should be ashamed, now if I was in your shoes i would have done away with the mufflers completly and bought the cam, there you achieved both at the same cost :D

Barney Fife wouldn't let me go 5 feet in this town without a hassle if I ran mine without mufflers. I'll stick with a set of Flowmasters or Magnaflows for my new truck.;)
