tires?

My 400ex is due for some tires. The stockers are pretty well worn out. I'm not looking to spend big bucks on tires, but I'm not going to cheap out either. I guess you could say I'm looking for the best bang for the buck. I plan on keeping the stock rims for now. What would everyone recommend? I ride mostly woods, tail rides, and the occasional race. Thanks!

If you don’t want to drop the cash for some Razr 2’s then I would definitely go with the Kenda Claws… Fronts should run you about $45 and rears around $50.

I do think the best bang for the buck is the Klaws, pretty inexpensive hook up good and last quiet a while. my next choice would be the holeshots xcr or the hd tires.

Go with the Klaws there awsome! and I think in some areas they have better traction than the Razors do!

I've been thinking of trying kenda knarlys next. I heard they have a new version called knarly XCR's coming out soon. The funny thing is after switching back and forth from my brothers 400ex with the stock radials to my 400ex with razrs I felt the radials hooked up better but my razrs were easier to slide. I'm not that impressed with the razr rears so far, from all the hype about them I thought they would be better. I do like the fronts a lot though. Anyone tried the radial i-razrs? If so how do you like them?

i have razr2s and they are worht every last penny i dont have problems with trction and they jump pretty good they have a alot more tread than klaws ive rode a z with klaws front and back they would never want to slide they hooked about the same goining forward but would want too tip you over in coners the guy who had them rode my 416 with my razr2s in the back and he said he could slide them or hold a line he agreed they were all around a better tire
