Hey, What jetting is everyone running on their FCR40mm carbs. I started jetting mine and I'm looking for some recomendations. I run an open airbox, HMF full pipe, Sparks filter and a Sparks cam. I tried running the stock needle in the 4th clip position with 45 pilot and 175 main jet, and it was too lean to run an open airbox. What is everyone esle out there running?

try a 178 main, stock needle and pilot, air/fuel screw 1.5 to 2 turns out and see where that gets ya. I have the Sparks pipe so it may vary.:o

I have Sparks cam, full HMF exhaust, and K&N filter lid off. 175 main, 50 pilot 2-turns out on mixture screw, and needle in middle. I went with the 50 pilot to get rid of a hesitation right of the bottom, and it solved it.

Hey guys thanks for your responses. I am running a 52 pilot (the stock 45 was too lean) 1.5 turns out, needle clip in the 4th position and a 180 main jet. The bike started with one kick, this is also an 02 carb, so jetting is a bit different than the 03Crf carbs. I might be a tiny bit rich, but I'll fine tune that soon.
Thanks,
Joe
