master cylinder

in my rear master cylinder the piston part got seized up to the cylinder part (metal to metal) becuase some water got in there. i took it apart and cleaned it all and it slides fine and works perfect but then i put it on and bleed the brakes and im not getting any pressure, thers no air left in the lines and its not leaking so i dont understand. i was told to rebuild the master cylinder, is that what i have to do? its not leaking or ne thing.

i would just rebuild it because your seals are probably shot too and i think the rebuild kits come with all that....rear lines are a ***** to bleed anyway so even if the fluid comes out right away do it a few times more just to make sure the arent air bubbles still
