does anyone have the msd ignition. if so, is it worth the money.

have one on the race car. Helps a lot
be cause it has a 2 step rev limiter and 2 timing retards for the nos and start up.
and has 2 sparks under 3000 rpm hence the name Multiple Spark Discharge. and a higher spark out but because it helps the coil recharge.

But I have no idea for a quad.

Was wondering about msd ignitions myself. How much do they run?

i think the msd's are right around $400. i have heard two people on here running the msd. one is toro. search for *msd* and you should find some results. then you can see what they say. i know toro does recommend it. he was really pleased. i opted out and bought the gt thunder box that just raises the rpm limit and it also advances your timing. i am pleased for the $125 shipped that i spent.
