Thats a sick bike but think.... Problems with that bike are the reason that he finished how he did this season and a big part of why he made the decision to quit team yamaha and go with team suzuki next year... ( I guess the great support they have and financials helped make the decision too....)

I think that suzuki will take MUCH better care of him. He'll be a supported Racer and not given quads and told good luck this season like yamaha did...:cool:

The only real Yamaha problems were the subframe breaking and brakes going soft during a moto. Curtis found the problem on the weak engines.

This is JMO but i wouldnt pay that much for that hunk of junk! I know it sounds a lil wrong me being that i ride a 300 but i would not pay 10,000 seeing how many DNF's he's had this year. I'll just go buy 416exmx's white/blue CRF. but thats JMO so dont bash me. :o

Yeah, buying a pro's quad would be a little scary. Quadnice bought Chris Borich's Z400 practice bike with lots of good stuff on it for a decent price but had to go completely through it, sounded like it was pretty tired.

i was just discussing this with a friend of mine....jones has had more problems with that heap this year than what its ever worth....NEVER SEEN HIM HAVE THAT MANY ON THE 250R. so its mechanical failure.....subframe broke...and curtis sparks squeezed every last lil bit of hp outta that motor that he possibly could...so its got power...but aint reliable

and not only that...pros run the piss outta their quads....i mean u figure its what 12 rounds of gnc nats. 2 races a piece, plus practice...and these guys are wfo the entire race....the whole time jones, gust, and farr were up in the top 3 at birch creek i never heard them once back off the throttle

Quad $6,600.00
Front End $2,700.00 a-arms + frnt shocks
Rear End $2,500.00 swing arm +shock
Engine $3,000.00 TC

Thats $14,800.00

Plus the GTYR bling blings. Kinda adds up quick
