axle nut

What happens when the nut on the right side of the axle is loose enough to spin with your hand? It is right beside the brake disk.... Mine is very loose and has been for a while..... Will this hurt anything?

ummm yeah, youll have a ton of play in your axle and youll toast your rear end....

common problem with the stock axle nut most people get a dual pinch lock nut to fix the problem, or if that isn't in the budget, I think people have used locktight (sp) or tape to keep it tight. Do make sure you tighten it or you will have worse problems.

check out the article/review of the meszaro axle nut on this site, these are inexpensive and work great

Make sure you tighten that up before you ride cause i ruined my bearing carrier cause i did not check if it was tight.
