I almost bought one from Walmart, but wondered why Walmart sold them so much cheaper than the bike shops. So I called Schwinn and they said there are 2 different versions: a cheap version Walmart and Toys R Us get, and the top of the line one the bike shops get. The ones from the bike shops are hard to get I've been told. If it's one of the bikes from the bike shops, that's a good price. The ones from Walmart and Toys R us are only available in chrome with red parts, at least that's what the Schwinn rep told me. You can also tell them apart by the serial numbers so people can't pass off the cheap ones as good ones. Just my .02 cents.

this is the expensive one.. it cost 300 new from a schwin dealer.. im his cousin and was with him when he got it.. he hasnt even rode it.. it is awesome... ill see if i can get some pics of it for you guys..

Like I said: if it's from a bike shop, $250.00 is a good deal. Good luck. Try Ebay. People were going nuts for them the last time I looked. :D
