No argument there, but in a trail situation I think the 400ex is great.

i agree with the 400ex, mine is pretty stock right now and i have rode with alot of different makes of quads on trails and mine is king of the hill according to those guys trying to keep up with me on their quads. they all want to take turns like little kids on mine. now their bikes are set up to mx or drag so there is a little bias there.

z or 400ex are both good, the z has reverse next to the honda and maybe some more power but, if you could live without reverse i would go with the 400ex, cant go wrong with it at all.

oh yea but its like enclosed by 4 roads all around it and they start between me and my neighbors house. it starts out with a half mile straight away(get some high speeds there  lol) and then theres just regular trails and you can chosose where you want to go)ill list them)

-sand pit-all sand with little jumps and stuff
-half pipe(thats what i call it) its like a big U's made of all dirt. you can get mad air there lol
-mud pits-from like 5in-5ft of mud pits
-creek/stream you can go through it goes from like 2 inches to like 3 ft
-"track" its like a big oval(0) with little jumps you can either go on or go around(the way i made it. i plan on making more jumps and stuff.
-tall grass field where you can make ur own trail.
-road just you can zoom up and down it lol
-grass regular old short green grass where i practice my wheelies and stuff lol
you can go back there and hit every trail and everything else only once and it would take you about 5hours lol its awesome.
i love my trails lol me and my neighbor made them from scratch on his 2 quads
(Polaris Sportsmans 500 and 600twin) im planning on getting one or 2 new quads in November but still dunno if i should get sport or Utility.im leaning towards an 05 raptor 660R. but still not sure cause all i have is a 96 honda fourtrax 200 type II
so to answer your question yes there are good trails right in my backyard lol it pretty muchly IS my backyard lol
