I am getting tired of waiting on the sorry arse dealership taking forever to get my 440 kit installed (its been 3 months and they have only bored the jug still have not ordered the right sleeve). I already have a 87mm sleeve so I was thinking of just getting it installed by a good shop getting a 11:1 piston hot cam stage 2 and a ported and polished head. Would that be as strong as a 440? If i am running 10.22 @ 62mph in the 1/8th with just a pipe a 11:1 and a stage 1. What would I run with the other setup. I would probally have to get a +1200 CDI. I just want to see if all this time money and trouble will be worth it. I may just say screw it and sell my 440 kit and leave the bike alone. I'm trying to get to the low 9's I know no one can tell me how much it will help exactly but just a guess would help me decide to leave my bike alone or keep fighting to get my 440 kit installed.
