what aftermarket bars will give me dimensions very close to the stockbars (i want better bars but i still want to be used to the dimensions and i want them to clear my l.cap.fuel tank)

Renthals work well. Thats what I had on mine before I got tags and had no clearence problems.

Yeah, renthal makes a stronger bar that keeps the stock 400ex bend. I used to have a set but sold them to run CR-HI bend...
