am i wrong but the pipe hole comeing out the head is only so big and it isnt like the stock pipe has a bunch of constricting bends in it so why wouldnt just a slips on be just as good as a full pipe???? does the aftermarket pipe make that much difference if so why please explain thanks

well im not extrialy eduated about exhaust systems....but when i recived my pipe the new head pipe was a larger diameter than the stock one....so im asuming it lets more air thru....resulting in a preformance increase:)

i dont believe so..i think it tapers off into a larger size...im not sure if i where you i would get a slip on and save the extra money for shocks or something..JMO:)

the difference is the diameter and thats really it. sometimes the will have less curves but not really with the 450's. i'm not putting on on mine, just a nice red HMF on my blk 450, things gonna look sweet! :)

The pipe is slightly larger and the bend is different. I am guessing that the diameter lets more air through and the bend makes a difference in where your power hits through the revs. Just guessing though.

I stuck the stock header inside part of the Yoshi header with gaps still.
