400EX airbox questions

I'm ordering a new airbox and airboot (they're only 15 dollars new:D ) and am wondering if there are any significant differences between the 99-02 models and 03-04 models (service Honda says they're different). I have a 00 model and have always had problems with the airboot coming loose from the carb. Was this problem addressed in the 03-04 models?

i have had the same problem on my 02 400 ex i changed out the stock clamps with those silver pipe clamps like what you use to hold on a k and n air filter that helped. but to be sure i also put in a few zip ties for safe keeping so it wouldnt fall off during a race it would pop off whenever i hit a big jump or landed hard. also im assuming that the 03 04 400 exs have the same problem
