i had one on my old 400ex & it was close to be accurate but it was pretty much just a fancy clock...sometimes it wouldnt work after it would get wet after washing it or riding through a creek & was an overall PITA....I would just keep your money & tie a watch around your handlebars

I have one on my 400 and its been on there for two years without a single problem. If you put a thick layer of dielectric grease on the mount before you slide the computer on there it will prevent it form freaking out whem you go splashing through the creeks. It will only be as acurate as your math is when you calculate the size of your wheel. The speed and distance on my trail tech matches the data shown on my GPS. Thats good enough for me.;)
