anyone see any problems using a stock crack with a 350 big bore kit on a 300ex?

you'll be fine, i would highly suggest a HD rod (gthunder sells them too) and since the bottom end will be apart to install the rod, might as well rebuild the crank while your right there at it anyway

bradley300-

do you have oil cooler? what else did you do with your 350? i did the cam, springs, port/polish,header/pipe/filter, 140 main. do you have to run race gas? can you mix or use pump in a bind?

i just blew up my motor after a total rebuild (above) and a high compression piston. the cylinder sleeve flange broke off sending the sleeve into the crank.

i have the whole thing apart. i'm starting from scratch with a budget of $1000 and i need alot of bulls*#t parts just for the rebuild.

i had laz build mine w/ an 11:1 compression piston, so it ran great on 93 octane, ran even better (and cooler) on race gas, but pump gas worked fine. mine did not have an oil cooer, but i would suggest one.

laz put in the 350cc piston, full race port, valve job, rebuilt crank, HD rod, clutch and valve springs.
