torque settings for h-bar clamps?

hey guys (and gals), I just bought some MSR steel bars for my 300ex, these things look great, even came with a pad, my question is, how tight do I make the clamps? I think I can borrow a torque wrench from my neighbor, but I am lost from there. I want them tight enough because I don't want them to strip the way our bmx handlebars used to. But, I don't want to overtighten them either, because I'm a big fellow and I am always breaking tools and stuff. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

Snug up the 2 front bolts good. then tighten the back 2 very tight and that should do it. The go back and check the front's just to make sure. The only thing that most people use a torque wrench for are certain inner engine parts. Don't froget to wire on the grips.
