400ex -- 250R

Wondering if some of the OEM items on a 400EX are the same or very close to the ones that came on the 88-89 250R?

My a-arms and shocks are getting a little worn out and for the type of riding I do, was looking to purchase a set of the 400ex "take offs" I am finding all over the place ;). I am hoping that the 400EX units bolt right up to the 250R mounts. Any help on thisd is appreciated.

The 400ex units will bolt right up, the front shocks are slightly shorter and will lower your quad a little bit, but that only helps handling, I would go for it!
