Just got new 450r

I just got a 04 450r, we picked it up out of state for 5750. It was home about 3 minutes and I already have a AC racing front bumper, Renthal bars and handgaruds from my 400e along with my home made HRC end cap on.

I rode it arround the block and I have to say it will kill my 400ex stock. It is unbelieve the difference. But I am a little confused on why it is stamped 650cm^3 on the right side tranny cover, im sure ints not a 650 but what is the tranny oil volume or something?

It was pretty simple I just romoved the spark arrestor core, and used some steel mesh that is close to the same as what is on the end of the stock core, but made a cone out of it that went in the can, and smashed the edges between the muffler and endcap so there is still a spark arestor. I will get some pics tommorw.

From what I have heard, the 650cc^3 is the volume of the oil pan or the tranny oil. (One of the two) No you did not just buy a 650cc quad for the price of a 450. :D

I will get pics. As far as mods I am deffanentally getting some real skids instead of a plastic pos? wtf is that? A WB e2, a k&n, probably no lid and a hotcam stage 2. And revalve/ respring the shocks. I still have a few things that will work from the 400 like tires, and obvious stuff.

May I suggest a Sparks exhaust and Sparks filter???
