ok, so im all ready to build a full on TT / Flattrack quad and now i can only find oval races anywhere close to me. the closest track and the next closest track say they wont be running quads next season :mad:

luckily the only real TT parts ive ordered are the rear rims. I geuss she will go back to being an all around plain old quad:(

i had the forthought to get the 4-1 offset so im ok on the fronts...and ill hang onto the rears for some play time.

now ya know how i feel a little, ive got enough parts to set up an oval 250r and a TT 250r, but no place to run them. you should go run an oval, not as fun as a TT but once you realize how fast you are going its amazing. the last oval race i ran was last year at a go-cart track, they were useing the transponders for the carts and wanted to put them on the quads to see how fast we were going since it was the 1st quad race there. i won that night and my lap time was 10.46 a lap i think. been a yr and hard to remember, but thats moving on a small oval track. it had some serious banking and i think the outside line of the track was a 1/4 mile.

well i knew i wouldnt see many local TT races but i figured atleast 1 race a month would be ok for me.

oh well, ill still get some tires and sway bars for the next TT race that comes close to me.

well pappy you can always make a nice 4X4 ute.....anyone see that ad in the dirtwheels mag for them gorilla axles for the UTEs....2 ft of ground clearance,pappy you should do that!:macho
