question on race gas

hey guys i just installed my new wiseco high compressio piston and i got some aviation fuel form the local air port which is 103 octane, um do i need to mix 93 octane in like a 75% 103 and 25% 93 octane. will this fuel help my engine run cooler.

You should be just fine, I run 100LL in my 400 with 11:1 Compression and it works great. I run this when im at the dunes because of elevation changes it tends to run a little richer then when I run VP C12, C12 burns more like a race gas and the 100LL more like higher octane pump gas. I think your motor will be just fine running 100LL, I would double check about that 103? Not sure if that’s a fuel choice for airplanes. Anyways have fun

There was a post here a few weeks ago about running AV gas. A couple of very good pionts were mentioned about why you shouldn't run AV gas.
