400ex elka suspension on a 450r

hi everybody, I have a 400ex with elka suspension and I want to sell it and buy a 450r. Will my elka suspension ( standard travel and stock a-arms ) fit on the 450r with stock a-arms??

They should fit, but you'll need to send them to someone to get the travel limited and springing/valving changed.

Laz at GTT has experience doing this & will be converting my PEPs soon...

would the 400ex elka's work alot better that the stock shocks of the 450rs?

I dont know, but I love my elka and they are triple rate and the 450r's shocks are 1 rate... so the elka are supposed to work better....

Thats what I was I thinking.
