a 30 shot and some gears will put you on top of any other quad, that is until your engine explodes lol

but seriously i would get an air filter and full exhaust to start with. thats like i dont know, 300 dollars.
then i would get a high compression piston ($100) cam shaft ($100) heavy duty valve springs ($100) and you send out your head with the valve springs to a machine shop and have them put in the springs, and port/polish it (under $100)
then with all this crap you might need hardened rocker arms ($120) along with like 5 quarts of oil and some oil filters (gotta change it a few times while breaking in), gaskets (gotta replace em), jet kit... (youll need it) that will all be probly around another $100... but then theirs labor if you cant put it back together, and shipping so thats even more money... but then youll still want to get new tires, skid plates, kill switch, stuff like that...

and they also make a manual clutch kit for your bike that allows you to have a clutch lever that works, but you can still safely shift without it. although i wouldnt waste the money....

but i think i would just save the money and buy a bit of a bigger bike since the 250ex is more of a kiddie bike.... but its your desicion :cool:

Selling the 250 and using that money + your 800 for a 400ex. Would be the best mod you could do.

No matter what you do to the 250 it will never run as good as a 400 or handle near as well.

hey man if you like the 250 get some works shocks front and back i heard they help or like fornt and back razr2s and a full pipe and k&n filter w/e maybe a graphics kit and skids

if you like ur 250ex alot like i did when i used to have it i put everything possible in there except for a bore kit but if you wanna keep it i would get one it would add a lil more pep when u ride and u should run as fast as a stock 300 wit a pipe k&n and jets.
