400ex Problems need help

My 400ex runs but if I give it any more then 1/4 throttle it will start to bog down then just shut off and when I remove the airfilter and give it a little gas gas starts comming out of the intake tube and into the airbox any Opinons on what is wrong here?

This is just a guess, but could your main jet have come out??

Nope took the float bowl drian off and it was in there nice and tight

while you have the carb apart check for trash or water.. These may be your culprets. Also change you spark plug. I've seen simi-fouled plugs do the same thing. Does it backfire before cutting off?

Sounds like your float or inlet needle is giving your problem. Check your float level and make sure it moves freely and make sure there is no dirt at between your inlet needle and needle seat.

You didnt put your hoses on backwards did you because I have a bayou220 and after I put the hoses back on the carb I went to start it and it wouldnt start and then I looked in the air box and it was filled with gas!! Just another Idea . And also It could be a fouled plug cuz when my plug goes bad my ex wont run right for anything and chops out and bogs down!
