risking life and limb i snooped around until i found it hidden deep in a cookie jar:devil:


first....

buy whatever cornbread mix is on sale.

then mix the ingredients per the package

THEN (here is her secret)

add 2 tablespoons of sour cream and 1/4 cup of sugar ! mix thouroughly and pour into a cast iron skillet. cook as per the package instructions in the oven until golden !

LOL I know what you mean. My wife makes some sugar cookies with sour cream that are awesome so I'm sure it works well in the cornbread too. I don't need it either but my sweet tooth has needs.:eek2:
