Drill Out Easy Out?

I snapped a bolt off when I was installing my new bumper. I tried using an easy out and I ended up snapping that. The broken bolt and easy out is flush with the front end of the frame. I can not drill through it.


Anyone know how I can remove this?

The easy out is hardened and you will have a tough time removing it.Try using a punch and go around the edge of the broken bolt and slowly try to tap it counter clockwise.It will work as long as there is no loctight,if there is put some heat to it first.Good luck.

Can you get to it from the opposite end? If so, you could drill until you reach the EZ-Out then "punch out" the tip of the EZ-Out (from the opposite end). Then you could apply some heat and try a square section EZ-Out. Good Luck!
