The timing chain has an automatic adjuster. It is located on the back right side of the cylinder. It sticks out about 2 inches out of the cylinder. There are 2 small bolts that hold it on. First take out the center bolt on the end and stick a small flat screwdriver in and hold the screwdriver in the same position while loosening the 2 small bolts that hold it on. Take it all the way off and keep holding the screwdriver in the same place. Then release the screwdriver while watching the adjuster and if it doesn't move then it is either frozen up or all the way extended out. If it's all the way extended out then you need to replace your chain.

no, this one you can't adjust yourself. it is auto adjusting so it adjusts itself.
