boreing 400ex

i was wondering what was the biggest bore size any of u have seen on the 400ex.......ive seen 465 any bigger???

oh yeah, you can go alittle over 500. mickey dunlap has a 500 kit for it. i hear those bikes move pretty good.

A 500 isnt all bore, there is some stroking involved there too.

The biggest piston I have seen for a 400ex is a 92mm which puts it at 465. You also need to bore the cases when you go that big.

maybe i didn't read close enough. i thought he meant stroking too but now that i see he wanted bore size. :)
